Brydon Park was named after the first Reeve (Mayor) of Saanich, Thomas Brydon, who owned a farm named Craigo Park Farm in the area. The Saanich Tennis Club holds the permit for the tennis courts located at the end of Viewmont Avenue, however, the courts are open to public use for selected hours.
