and Land Use
Smart Growth BC, working together with residents,
community leaders, business people and Saanich staff
undertook a Charrette workshop to create a vision
for the Tillicum/Burnside corridors. The vision is
to link revitalized urban villages with streetscape
and traffic improvements aimed at providing increased
living and business opportunities, strengthening
community character and increasing safety for pedestrians,
cyclists and vehicles. The Charrette is one of the
elements being used to create an Action Plan for
future consideration by Saanich Council.

Growth web site.
