Recreation Gift Card:

These cards can be used for nearly anything in recreation - all Rec Centres for drop-ins, courses, rentals, etc. and also at Cedar Hill Rec Ricochet Lounge, Cedar Hill Golf Course, Cedar Hill Golf Course Shank's Pub, and Commonwealth Pool Wave Reviews swim shop!

If you want to encourage friends or family to use recreation or even to learn how to golf, consider a Gift Card as a present this year.  If friends or family are stuck for gift ideas, please let anyone and everyone know about these new and very flexible gifts.

You can buy a Gift Card for any amount from $10 up to $250.  As they are used, the purchase value is removed from the amount on the card until you have used it all.  Pick one up at any Rec Centre reception or cashier station.  They are also being sold at the 2nd floor Municipal Hall Cashier station!

Saanich Parks & Recreation is pleased to provide an official Children's Fitness Tax Credit receipt as required, for eligible children's courses from 2007.  Children who registered in eligible courses, will have an official receipt available to parents or guardians upon request.  Further information about the Children's Fitness Tax Credit may be obtained from the Canada Revenue Agency website at:  http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/whatsnew/fitness-e.html 

Please contact any one of our four Saanich Recreation Centres after February 13th, to obtain a receipt.

The Active Living Guide, Saanich Recreation's program calendar, is published three times yearly. Approximately 50,000 copies are printed and distributed with the Saanich News. Rural Saanich residents receive their copies through Canada Post.

Most of the programs in the Guide are now available online but if you would like to register for Summer Programs you will need to do so beginning May 14th. If you would like a printed copy you can pick one up at any Saanich community recreation facility or at the Saanich Municipal Hall.
