The Annual Saanich Strawberry Festival celebrates 42 successful years of community involvement and support.
The event originated as a celebration of the agricultural roots of Saanich and has blossomed into a grand festival for all ages.
Activities this year include:
- Kids carnival style games with a variety of free prizes to win
- BC 150 Birthday Cake Ceremony
- Dog Agility Shows
- Beacon Hill Petting Farm
- Hand Drum Rhythms
- Face painting
- Sportball activities
- Pony rides
- Model Boats
- Children's relay races
- Arts & craft stations
- Barnstormers Flyball demo
- A pie eating contest
- Bouncy castles
