SAANICH INTERPRETIVE GARDEN TOUR

Saanich parks are home to an abundance of plants, trees and flowers,  Hop on our bus as we tour various parks and gardens to discover the trees, vegetation and flowers that thrive there.  Meet at Saanich Municipal Hall parking lot at the end of Darwin Street.  FREE. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED - registration can be done via any recreation centre.  Course Code 250739

PRESCHOOLERS IN THE PARK
1 month - 6 years

This free park program lets children enjoy outdoor play on our adventure playgrounds, an organized circle time, and a guided nature walk through the neighbourhoods surrounding the parks. Bring a stroller or back pack carrier for the walk. No registration necessary.  Program cancelled by 9:00 am if raining. for more information call 475-5408.

SUNDAY HIKES

Discover the beauty of the Saanich parks right in your backyard.  Guided hikes are open to adults of all ages. No registration is necessary, just drop in at the appropriate time and meeting place.  Although these hikes follow mainly chip trails and pavement, there may be some rough or steep sections, so please wear sturdy and supportive footwear and bring adequate drinking water.

INTERMUNICIPAL DISCOVERY WALKS

Discover the beautiful parks and byways of the Capital Regional District.  The monthly 2 hour walks are moderately paced and open to adults of all ages. 

Participants meet at 9:00 am at designated location and we will carpool to the site. Wear sturdy walking shoes and bring adequate drinking water.   Walks proceed rain or shine.
