Mt. Doug Nature Scavenger Hunt

Join us for an afternoon of family fun. Burn off some steam in our Fall Scavenger Hunt, or try your hand at Ecology Bingo and family friendly activities. Meet near the washroom block, in the main parking lot of Mt. Doug Park, off Cordova Bay Road.

Discover the beauty of the Saanich parks right in your backyard. These FREE guided hikes are open to adults of all ages. No registration is necessary, just drop in at the appropriate time and meeting place. Although these hikes follow mainly chip trails and pavement, there may be some rough or steep sections, so please wear sturdy and supportive footwear and bring adequate drinking water.

Enjoy fresh air, beautiful scenery, a friendly chat and gentle exercise as we take different walks through Saanich parks and trails. A great way to meet people. Suitable for all walking abilities. Wear suitable footwear. No registration required.

Meet beside Silver City Theatre at Tillicum Mall, at Colquitz Creek Park sign.

Preschoolers in the Park

Play on our adventure playgrounds, enjoy organized circle time, and partake in a nature/urban walk through surrounding neighbourhoods. Bring a stroller or child carrier. Parent participation is required. No registration required.
