Cadboro-Gyro Park
Saanich Parks is seeking public input into the Cadboro-Gyro Park Masterplan (a masterplan
provides direction on what a park should be like for the next 5 to 20 years). Saanich has
contracted LADR Landscape Architects to develop the plan which will be comprised of a
written report and landscape plan. The Masterplan will provide a framework for which the
District of Saanich can base planning, design and management decisions for the park in the
future. Park development opportunities and constraints are being indentified through a review
of various aspects of the park including geology, ecology/biological environmental,
hydrology, underground services, First Nations history, and present and future recreation
requirements and desires.
