Sustainable Saanich Workshop Series |
|
This workshop series has been very successful, typically drawing an audience of about 100
people including local government staff and politicians, builders, developers, architects,
landscape architects, engineers, planners, community groups, and other interested
individuals. The purpose of this series is to provide people with information that will
- Increase understanding of the benefits of sustainability
- Increase understanding of the options/technologies for achieving more sustainable buildings
- Encourage the development of more 'green' building approaches in Saanich and surrounding area

Workshops:

Join us at the University of Victoria for a panel discussion on why market forces
drive house sizes up while family sizes are decreasing. We have various experts
on the panel including our very own Planning Director-Russ Fuoco, an
environmental psychologist, a realtor, a financial analyst and a developer who
specializes in small developments.
