Saanich Parks and Recreation now offers a new multilingual

PROGRAMS
Conversation Clubs
Practice your English in these small, informal group discussions
by Canadian volunteers. Ideal program for immigrants,
refugees and international students to meet new people and
learn about other cultures. If you need child minding,
or for further information, please call: 475-5409,
before your class. Drop in fee: $3.50.
English Reading and
Writing
Do you have difficulty reading and understanding
books, or newspapers? How well can you express your thoughts
on paper? Learn to enhance your reading, writing and grammar
in a fun and informal setting.
ESL Exploration
Practice and learn English in a group setting.
The program will integrate the use of pictures, music, worksheets
and games. There will also be time for help with school
work. Ideal for new immigrants and those with limited English.
