New Saanich Police Chief Constable Announced
The Saanich Police Board today named M.R. (Mike) Chadwick as Chief Constable of the Saanich Police Department. Chadwick will assume the position of Chief Constable August 1, 2009 when Chief Constable Derek Egan retires. |
SCP Rec Centre Wins “Best of the City”
Saanich Commonwealth Place won first place for best pool, second place for best recreation centre and third place for best weight room in the Black Press sponsored annual competition to find the “Best in the City”. |
Canada Day Closure
The Saanich Municipal Hall will be closed Wednesday, July 1, 2009 for the Canada Day holiday and will reopen Thursday, July 2, 2009. |
Douglas Street Connector Project
The public are invited to the upcoming information session for the Douglas Street Connector project. This event will be held at Rainbow Park on June 23th, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Staff will be on hand to address any questions or concerns you may have. |
