Saanich’s Climate Action Plan
Saanich has completed the draft of the Saanich Climate Action Plan in preparation for public review and input. This plan proposes new greenhouse gas reduction targets for the community and municipal operations and lays out the strategies and actions to achieve these goals.
Resident’s feedback will be collected by the following means from November 5th to the 30th:
- Responses by email, letters or feedback form, or
- Open Houses

Feedback is sought from the public on the goals and actions proposed in the plan. Copies of the draft can also be obtained at the Municipal Hall for a fee.

Open Houses
Drop-in information Open Houses will be held on the following dates/times/locations. The Open Houses present the same information available through the online Open House above. The Open Houses in the community are held to ensure residents have numerous opportunities and ways of asking questions about the plan and providing input.
- Thursday November 19th, from 4:00-8:00
- Tuesday November 24th, from 4:00-8:00
- Monday November 30th, from 4:00-8:00

| All of the feedback provided by residents will be presented to Council for review and consideration in early December of this year. Public input both written and verbal can also be provided directly to Council at that time. |
