Saanich has completed the draft of the Saanich Climate Action Plan in preparation for public review and input. This plan proposes new greenhouse gas reduction targets for the community and municipal operations and lays out the strategies and actions to achieve these goals.

Drop-in information Open Houses were held in November 2009. The Open Houses presented the same information available through the online Open House available below.

All feedback that was provided by residents will be presented to Council for review and consideration in January 2010. Public input both written and verbal can also be provided directly to Council at that time.
