Intermunicipal Business Licences were introduced in January, 2000 to alleviate the necessity of purchasing several business licences in order to operate your business throughout the Greater Victoria area. Specified contractors and service providers can now purchase just one business licence from the municipality in which their business is located, which will permit them to operate within all thirteen participating municipalities for a standard fee of $100.00. Intermunicipal Licences are our way of helping to reduce the cost of doing business in a number of jurisdictions.

Paying for a business licence:

Payment for a business licence can be made:

• online (www.saanich.ca),
• by mail (make cheque payable to “District of Saanich”) or
• in person at the Saanich Municipal Hall.”

Cost:

A fee of $100 will allow business to operate within all thirteen of the participating municipalities.  The following is a list of municipalities who issue Intermunicipal Business Licences:
