NEW: Renovators in Saanich can now apply for a rebate on their building permits fees of up to 30%

NEW: New homes under 2,000 sq.ft. qualify for up to 50% back on building permit fees.

Green buildings  are designed and constructed to maximize efficiency and comfort, without sacrificing style and beauty.Green buildings reduce the need for resources such as energy and water, thus reducing the environmental impact of buildings overall.  Healthier for the occupants and cheaper to maintain, green buildings are a community asset.

How the Saanich Green Building Rebate Program works:

New Homes

  1. Obtain a voucher (if desired) from the Building Inspections Department for a free green building consultation with City Green.  The green building consultant will guide you through any available programs and rebates available for renovators and new home builders.
